This knowledge will enhance participants’ capacity to contribute value to deal teams by recognizing and articulating the typical steps involved in the M&A process, including key due diligence workflow streams, their significance, and their interconnections.

  • Identify the primary constituencies involved in M&A processes, understanding their respective roles, and discerning the differences between roles on the buy side and sell side.

  • Analyze how various investor types, stages of investment, and sources of capital influence priorities in the M&A process and due diligence activities.

  • Cultivate essential business skills and habits that create value (“HTCV”) and become a well-rounded deal professional capable of effectively navigating tricky situations found in a variety of transaction settings.

  • Apply specific diligence frameworks to transaction scenarios to enhance analytical capabilities and outcomes during M&A transactions.
